1st Guitar Open Class Cycle at the National Conservatory of Vrilissia

Session 3: Sound and Interpretation

The National Conservatory of Vrilissia continues the 1st Guitar Open Class Cycle, opening a new journey of knowledge, technical development, and musical inspiration for students, parents, and the wider musical community of the Conservatory.

The third meeting of the cycle is dedicated to the theme “Sound and Interpretation”. It will take place on Saturday, 9 May 2026, from 10:00 to 13:00, in Room 4 of the National Conservatory of Vrilissia.

An Open Educational Experience for Guitar

The Guitar Open Class is an important educational initiative of the National Conservatory of Vrilissia and Guitar Professor Giorgos Karatsalos, aimed at meaningful student progress, the cultivation of technical and interpretative skills, and the development of each young musician’s personal musical identity.

Participation in an open class offers students a valuable experience beyond the individual lesson. It creates an environment for knowledge exchange, observation, and creative feedback, where each student can be inspired by others’ learning processes.

At the same time, parents have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of systematic music education, regular practice, perseverance, and the cultivation of a meaningful relationship with music.

At the National Conservatory of Vrilissia, guitar teaching is not limited to technical training alone. Its goal is a well-rounded musical education, the development of aesthetic awareness, and the strengthening of each student’s personal expression.
